About us
Hiatus Spa + Retreat was born out of necessity. Life today moves faster than ever, leaving us searching for ways to unplug and de-stress. We believe that regular spa treatments are a simple feel-great solution. A visit to the spa should not be a luxury, or reserved for special occasions. Instead, it should be an affordable component of a wellness plan, with prevention at its core, providing a quick break from the hustle and bustle of daily life (hence the name: Hiatus).
We opened our first location in Dallas in 2007 with our signature membership, the H-Circle, a concept that was conceived to give our guests good reason to frequent the spa. Our second location in Austin was a given, since we have deep roots in the city, and are proud Longhorns to boot. Not to mention that Austin is a city where people take pride in taking care of themselves… a perfect marriage. Our third location opened in 2014 in Plano to meet the demand of the Dallas area spa junkies.
Enter our doors and you will be warmly greeted by a friendly, dedicated spa team. Each location offers eighteen private treatment rooms and a relaxing nail therapy lounge with zero-gravity chairs, or as many guests call it, “nap time”. Hiatus features skin-quenching services like the signature Stone Fusion Body Glow in the hydrotherapy room, the Monthly Retreat, blending seasonal ingredients with a massage and body treatment, and services inspired from distant places, like Thai Bodywork and Shirodhara.
Join us for a single service or stay for the day; we offer men’s and women’s dressing rooms with private showers and lockers for your personal items. Once you slip into a soft robe and slippers, enjoy a cup of warm comforting tea and focus on the relaxation that lies ahead, we will be on hand to make sure your spa experience is everything you desire.
