Our founder
Linda Wentz L.Ac, CMT, HHC
Owner and founder of Holistic Touch, Linda is a National Board Certified (NCCAOM) and Licensed Acupuncturist. She received her diploma of acupuncture from the Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is authorized to practice as a Licensed Acupuncturist by the Commonwealth of Virginia and Board of Medicine. Linda received her training to practice Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City in association with Columbia University. It is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories -combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, Chinese 5 Elements, and Ayurvedic dietary theories.
Linda is also a National Board Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist from the Virginia Learning Institute of Massage Therapy. She has a B.S. in Health and Physical Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
As a former national level collegiate swimmer, her entire life has been devoted to health and wellness.
